Sani was a member of several Chambers of Commerce, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Shipping of Nigeria and President of the Fertiliser Producers and Suppliers Association (“FERSAN”). He was well known for his role as the chairman of Dansa Holdings, a subsidiary of the Dangote Group that produces beverages. BREAKING: EFCC Arrests Bukola Saraki over renewed allegations of corruption EFCC has Arrested Bukola Saraki over renewed allegations of corruption . Ara's News has learned that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has taken former Nigerian Senate President Bukola Saraki into custody on charges of theft and money laundering.

Mr Saraki, the former governor of Kwara State, was detained on Saturday, according to sources familiar with the situation, which could lead to another round of trouble for the politician. Between 2015 and 2019, Mr Saraki served as Senate President, during which time he was accused of corruption and false asset declarations. The Supreme Court acquitted him in June 2018. However, according to our source, in his new case with the EFCC , Mr Saraki is expected to answer questions about alleged theft and laundering of public funds through a network of cronies and proxy companies. The alleged proxies who allegedly carried out purported contracts for Kwara State under Mr Saraki allegedly made returns to the former governor for many years, forming a well-organized network of dirty money flow. According to sources, the funds involved totalled hundreds of millions of naira and hundreds of thousands of dollars at various times. Ara's News has learned that anti-graft investigators obtained a list of the proxy companies involved and analysed a pattern of suspicious transactions between them and Mr Saraki. According to PREMIUM TIMES ‘ investigation based on interviews with people familiar with the property, one of them has been allegedly responsible for funding Mr Saraki’s lifestyle, including paying over a hundred million to settle bills for rent and renovation of Mr Saraki’s Maitama residence. The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has declared Gimba Yau Kumo, son-in-law of President Muhammadu Buhari, wanted over an alleged $65 million fraud. In a notice published on Thursday, Azuka Ogugua, spokesperson of the anti-graft commission, said Kumo is declared wanted alongside Tarry Rufus and Bola Ogunsola over alleged misappropriation and dispersion of national housing funds. Kumo, a former managing director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, married Fatima , the president’s daughter, in 2016 at Daura, Katsina state. “The persons whose pictures appear above, Mr. Tarry Rufus, Mr. Gimba Yau Kumo and Mr. Bola Ogunsola, are hereby declared WANTED by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in connection with issues bordering on misappropriation of National Housing Funds and diversion of the sum of Sixty Five Million dollars ($65,000,000),” the ICPC said. “Anyone who has useful information on their whereabouts should report to ICPC Headquarters Abuja, any of the ICPC State Offices or the nearest police station.” In April, the senate committee on public accounts summoned Kumo to explain the alleged irregular award of N3 billion contract when he was still at the bank.

As predicted, majority of Nigerians replied quickly to her statement and told her to concentrate on her law school rather than get involved in highly sensitive issues of such a nature, as some believe they are fighting for the freedom of their people. Both men are freedom fighters, as you know, trying to protect their lands against murderous herdsmen and make their citizens feel protected. However, to try to get his people to secede from Nigeria and restore Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has gone a step further. However, it has been a difficult job, as the Constitution of Nigeria does not accept such a call. If we look at the legal ramifications, we may conclude that the young lawyer might be correct, because both leaders lack the constitutional authority to remove a specific tribe from their host nation.
